RECRUITING
There is an incredible amount of talent in the music program at the Middle School. If you have any friends, neighbors or siblings in 7th or 8th grade, please encourage them to consider joining the Marching Unit. It is such a fun and enriching activity for the students!
NEW PARENTS
For new and/or future parents, here's a brief summary of what the students can expect:
Band Camp - the last 2 full weeks of summer break - all day sessions to learn marching essentials and build the team.
Rehearsals during the fall semester - typically Tuesday and Thursday nights, plus Saturday mornings.
Football games - usually Friday nights throughout the football season.
Competitions - Saturday afternoons at local high schools, culminating with State Champs in Hershey, PA in November
Parades - Hatboro and Ambler Holiday Parades
PARENT INVOLVEMENT
Parent involvement is critical for keeping the band going. There are many opportunities for parents to get involved with the behind-the-scenes efforts such as fundraising and logistics support at the shows. Please contact a board member if you can share your talents. Thank you.
