Child Development and Parenting I

This class explores the realities of parenting and the real world of children. Understanding of both the child and the care-giver is included as students learn about key intellectual, physical and social/emotional development of infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Formal observation of children and active participation in the nursery school and W.E.L.L. program (WIssahickon Early Learning Lab) are important requirements.
