Creative Stitchery is the use of sewing skills to create designs. This includes embroidery, crewl, counted cross stitch, needlepoint, crocheting, and knitting. Basic needlework stitches, and creating original designs using the proper materials are emphasized. Students are required to purchase all materials used in class, and upon completion of a project, materials for the next project must be on hand. Straight pins, pin cushion, seam ripper, sewing needles, and seven-inch scissors must be supplied by the student.
