High school students like to make this--and then enjoy having the preschoolers play with it!
Stir into a saucepan:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup salt
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
Mix well in a bowl:
1 tablespoons oil
1 cup water
few drops food coloring
Add to dry mixture in saucepan. Cook over medium to low heat, stirring constantly.
Remove from pan. Knead in a small amount of cinnamon or cloves while warm.
COOL THOROUGHLY. Store in plastic container or ziploc bag.
