Dear Parents & Guardians,

Welcome to the Wissahickon High School.  A tremendous amount of energy is spent each day by teachers, students, and administrators in an effort concentrated toward making this a vibrant, exciting place.  We believe you, too, will feel the energy when you visit.

Our mission in the high school is a simple one; to provide a safe, positive and nurturing environment so that teachers can teach and students can learn.  Wissahickon High School boasts of a solid academic curriculum, high performing students and various extra-curricular activities.

It is extremely important that you, as parents, become an involved member of our learning community because you are one of the primary stakeholders.  You can do that by talking to your child about school, communicate regularly with teachers, counselors and administrators, and support your child in his or her pursuits outside of the classroom. You can also show your support by belonging to and actively participating in our Parent – Teacher Council.

High school can be an exciting time in your child’s life.  Hopefully, with your help and cooperation we can maximize the potential of all Wissahickon High School students.

                                                                        Sincerely,

                                                                        William C. Hayes, Principal
