"**NEW THIS YEAR**
In an attempt to make sure that our student scholars have time to enjoy their summer break, we are shifting the timeline for Camp for Success. Historically Camp for Success was a multi-week program through the entire month of July. This year will be hosting Camp for Success as a Boot Camp! The same amount of time we previously had mapped out for the month of July, will be condensed to a week-long course!
Description
The Pre-Teaching courses are designed to address gaps in knowledge that students may have in a given content area or help students get a head start on a particular course. The Pre-Teaching courses are designed to introduce students to material in a course they have not taken yet. Courses will focus on the necessary skills that will assist students to be successful in the 2025-26 school year. The goal of this course is to prepare students for their future courses before the school year begins.
The Re-Teaching courses are designed to address gaps in knowledge that students may have in a given area. The Re-Teaching course is designed to review material in a course that students have already taken and passed. The goal of this course is to review important concepts and skills that students will need in order to be successful in the 2025-26 school year.
The SAT Test Preparation course is designed to build the confidence of students who will be taking the SAT test in the coming year. The goal of this course is to identify and implement test-taking strategies and utilize prior knowledge to increase student performance. Essay writing will focus on a piece of writing that may be used in the college application process.
