Paola Toro
A graduate of the Elizabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, Paola Toro is a passionate advocate for the environment and communities. With a background in environmental law and policy, Ms. Toro has made significant contributions throughout her career. As an intern at the United Nations, she worked on critical issues such as human rights, nuclear non-proliferation, and the Paris Climate Agreement. She also gained experience at the New York State Division of Human Rights, where she focused on anti-discrimination programs and fostering positive inter-group relationships.
Her commitment to environmental causes led her to the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, where she fought for water quality improvement, protection of endangered species, and climate change advocacy. Ms. Toro has also served as a representative for local governments in New Jersey on various environmental matters at the law firm of Maraziti Falcon. Currently, Ms. Toro works at Bressler, Amery & Ross, P.C. where she represents Fortune 500 companies on environmental matters across the United States and Puerto Rico.
Ms. Toro’s dedication and accomplishments have earned her recognition, including being named a "Rising Star" in Environmental Law by Super Lawyers, an honor reserved for the top 2.5% of attorneys under 40 or with less than 10 years of practice.
