Student Parking 2025-26

To ensure student safety and maintain accountability for the privilege of driving to school, the following guidelines will be in effect for any student parking on school property:

🚗 Parking Permit Requirements

  • All student vehicles must have a valid WHS parking permit (hangtag) starting the first day of school.
  • Permits must be obtained in advance and always displayed clearly on the rearview mirror while on campus.
  • Students will be assigned a specific numbered parking spot that corresponds with their hangtag.
  • If a student may drive multiple vehicles, each vehicle must be registered in advance.

⚠️ Driving Expectations and Enforcement

  • The campus speed limit is 10 MPH. Unsafe driving, including speeding, may result in a suspension or permanent revocation of driving privileges.
  • WSD parking tickets will be issued for the following violations:
    • Parking in the wrong space
    • Parking on tiger stripes or outside marked spaces
    • Parking in unauthorized lots (Upper Lot, Stadium or Lower Gwynedd Elementary)
    • Parking without a valid hangtag
  • Unpaid parking tickets will be recorded as student obligations, which may impact eligibility for extracurricular participation.

🎟️ Permit Sale Information

Permits will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis in the D-Hall Administrative Suite at WHS. Once all spots are filled, no additional permits will be issued.
